Rapid Circle congratulates and celebrates five years’ work anniversary of Nagesh Joshi, a Cloud Consultant.

Though coming from a non-Microsoft technology background, Nagesh took up the challenge of delivering on the .NET tech stack which he had not worked on for a while.

Nagesh demonstrated his strong will to learn (and unlearn) and delivered successfully on various engagements. He further went on to work closely with our customers on-site in Bangalore staying away from his family.

Over the last 5 years, he has proved himself as a calm and composed consultant who strives on delivering value to customers. Here is Nagesh’s inspiring journey and how he stayed #aheadofthecurve and made valuable impact for Rapid Circle and our customers:

Can you tell us about your current role and project?

I am working as a Cloud Consultant for Leap DNA project which is a service built to allow organizations to design Azure landscapes that meet their specific security, compliance, governance, scale, cost and business objectives and further enable business audiences to quickly deploy them in a way that is repeatable and consistent.

How did you come to know about Rapid Circle?

I first came to know about Rapid Circle when I attended Open Office event here 10 years ago, but eventually decided to take a different path at that time. Few years later, I had an opportunity to spend couple of days with RC folks in Tadoba (a Tiger National Park in Central India) and that’s when I decided that I wish to join this wonderful team.

I would like to express my gratitude to Rapid Circle for giving me this opportunity. Although my previous experience and requirement here was very different when I was hired here. Thanks a ton for the trust shown time.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome it?

In terms of challenges when I was deployed in Bangalore at customer location in a completely different role, unfamiliar surroundings and different company culture. I was from a Java background hence SharePoint was completely new for me. However that also taught me a lot.

Can you recall some of your best memories working here?

My best memories include  when I become the first Automation Consultant in LeapDNA. I was unaware of the development details of this product, but still could work with automation solutions independent of the platform knowledge was a validation of it being a great product. Other events like the 10th anniversary of Rapid Circle, the potluck events, traditional days gave me wonderful memories.

What do you aim to achieve now (technology-wise, other skills etc)?

My future goal is to enhance my capabilities in a manner that enables me to help the client in all the phases right from requirements gathering to implementing the best possible Azure solutions (end to end). As there are numerous resources in Azure currently, suggesting & implementing the best possible resources according to the needs of the client requires a lot of expertise which is exactly what I plan to achieve.
