September is coming to a close, but we’d like to take a moment to introduce our new pioneers who joined our team this month and the previous one. Janine, Jan Willem, and Akram, a heartfelt welcome to Rapid Circle Netherlands!

Let’s start with Janine Pastoor. On September 1st, Janine began her journey as a Service Delivery Manager in our Run team. At 31 years young, she resides in Baarn with her husband and two children. Cooking is her passion, and she loves to treat others to delicious dinners. To maintain balance, she engages in strength training from time to time. Besides her love for food, Janine enjoys the great outdoors and finds joy in relaxing walks. Originally hailing from Limburg, her fondness for the good life likely originates there. Prior to joining Rapid Circle, Janine worked at Expaning Visions, primarily as a project manager. Although her role at Rapid Circle is different, she believes her organizational skills and caring nature are the perfect mix to deliver the best of our services, both for Rapid Circle and our clients.

Next, let’s meet Jan Willem Becker. Over a month ago, Jan Willem joined us as a Service Delivery Manager in our Run team. He received a warm welcome, as he puts it. At 56 years young, he resides in Arnhem with his better half, Jocelyn, and boasts an impressive 30 years of experience in the IT industry (former employers include Cegeka, Winvision, and SLTN). In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, a game of padel, and has a strong passion for traveling. Jan Willem has found that working at Rapid Circle so far fills him with energy. He appreciates the atmosphere, our company culture, and the camaraderie with his new colleagues immensely.

Last but not least, we’d like to extend another warm welcome to Akram Makhlouf. On September 1st, Akram started as a Cloud Engineer in our Run team. In the past, Akram worked as an account manager for about 7 years across various sectors. Unfortunately, due to health issues, he was unable to work and live his usual lifestyle for an extended period. During this time, he took the opportunity to explore the IT sector, a field he had always been passionate about. During his recovery, he pursued various IT certifications. Ultimately, he completed a training program through Techgrounds, becoming a Junior Cloud Engineer in Azure. Rapid Circle provided him with the opportunity to kickstart his IT career, something he is immensely grateful for. His aspirations include continued self-development, becoming a full-fledged Medior/Senior Cloud Engineer, and building a rewarding and enduring career at Rapid Circle.

In his free time, Akram has always been a sports enthusiast, with a particular fondness for swimming. Recently, he has been able to dive back into this passion and trains multiple times a week. Besides his athletic pursuits, Akram has a strong drive to acquire relevant IT knowledge. He derives great satisfaction from the learning process and the challenges it presents.
