Can you tell us about your current role and project?
In my current role at Rapid Circle, I am working as a Solution Specialist for Power Platform and Dynamics. My role consists of responsibilities like,
– developing a solution offering for business who are interested in using the capabilities of Power Platform in an enterprise
– implementation of well-planned governance model and strategies
– consulting businesses on how they can harness the power of low-code no-code technologies in their growth
– providing technical consultation as well guided learning workshops to the Citizen Developers
How did you come to know about Rapid Circle?
While I’ve been with Rapid Circle for the past five years, it feels like a much longer and cherished association. During a casual conversation with Suyog, I learned about his exciting new venture, Codezeven, which immediately piqued my interest.
It piqued my interest even further when my close friend and former colleague, Anuja Bhojani, joined Rapid Circle a couple of years later. I actually tried to join the company myself twice between 2014 and 2019, but it wasn’t meant to be at the time.
Finally, in 2019, my dream of becoming part of the Rapid Circle team came true.
What challenges did you face and how did you overcome it?
When working with the latest technology, you are bound to encounter challenges stemming from inadequate documentation. Programs like Rapid Circle’s Mentor-Mentee program, internal technical platforms, and brainstorming sessions with colleagues are a boon for me.
How different of a person you are now as compared to when you joined?
I wouldn’t describe myself as introverted, but before joining Rapid Circle, I was working as a project manager. Transitioning from management to pure technology was a significant shift for me.
Initially, I struggled to participate in technical discussions or voice my opinions. However, I was fortunate to have various mentors who provided wisdom beyond just technology. They taught me how to handle rejections, consider the bigger picture when providing solutions, and what it takes to succeed professionally. These were some of the invaluable lessons I gained from my mentors.
While I acknowledge that I’m not perfect, I wholeheartedly embrace that fact, and I believe that’s the difference I’ve noticed in myself. Whether it’s due to age or wisdom, I’m not entirely sure, but I’m certain that Rapid Circle played a crucial role in my transformation.
Can you recall some of your best memories working here?
My journey with Rapid Circle is filled with cherished memories. Some notable ones include my first technical talk at PUG, my initial interactions with both global and local colleagues during Team Day at Lonavala, and a Secret Santa gift that brought me the delightful surprise of “Sukhan,” a private mehfil from Avani.
What do you aim to achieve now (technology-wise, other skills etc)?
Throughout my career, I’ve gained experience in both project management and technology. Now, I am eager to further develop my skills in pre-sales, solutioning, and technical architecture.
