Can you tell us about your current role and project?

Currently working as a Power Platform consultant where I am training upcoming Citizen app developers for the client. Additionally, I am updating the Knowledge Base of a client with useful articles and tutorials to help their users to stay informed and refer the content whenever they need support.

How did you come to know about Rapid Circle?

I was referred by Deven Ramani, an ex-colleague of Rapid Circle, about 5 years ago. Back then I was a front-end developer with experience in Angular. But the requirement in Rapid Circle was for ReactJS and SharePoint, both of which I had no idea about. Thanks to Deven’s encouragement I applied for the job, learnt a lot along on the way and after a bunch of interesting interview rounds, got selected.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome it?

Biggest challenge I have faced when I joined was the transition to Microsoft tech stack since my background for 3 years before joining Rapid Circle was majorly in front end technology. Thanks to the opportunities I kept receiving, I was able to overcome the learning curve and was able to pick up many new technologies since then.

How different of a person you are now as compared to when you joined?

Over the past 5 years I have realized my work ethic, technical growth and overall professionalism has really improved. Having worked in 2 other start-up companies before Rapid Circle taught me many things too but I feel the pace at which I was working at was pretty slow. Being surrounded by the talented team here created this environment of improving my own skills while having fun.

Can you recall some of your best memories working here?

During the early Covid period we were doing a bunch of urgent and quick projects for the healthcare industry. I was part of one such project where we had to deliver the solution right from requirement gathering to production in the span of one week. Working almost all night with the team for that entire week was super hectic but also turned out to be fun. That experience is something that will definitely stay with me forever.

What do you aim to achieve now (technology-wise, other skills etc)?

Apart from improving my technical skills, which is a daily task, I am aiming to improve my people skills going ahead. I believe it will not only help me take better decisions in terms of delivering solutions but also shape me into a well-rounded consultant and build good relationships along the way.
