What a month! In October, we welcome no less than five new pioneers. Today you’ll meet Dong Yun, Shamim, Marit, Sander and Peter.

Dong Yun Engels joined our Sales and Marketing team as Alliance Manager on October 1. He is a true adventurer, both summer and winter, with a passion for camping and photography. Dong Yun will strengthen the relationship with Microsoft at Rapid Circle, so that we can work together with our customers and Microsoft to realize the full potential of our partnership. With over 7 years of experience as a SharePoint Consultant, FastTrack Manager and Cloud Accelerator Lead at Wortell, he brings with him a wealth of knowledge.

Shamim Khaliq also started her journey with us on October 1 as a Cloud Engineer on our Run team. Born in Pakistan, she moved to the Netherlands at a young age and now considers Amsterdam her home base. After years of working in international recruitment for English universities, Shamim decided to pursue a new path in the IT sector. She trained as a Junior Cloud Engineer in Azure at Techgrounds Academy and found her way to Rapid Circle. A mother of three and proud grandmother, Shamim is an epicurean and travel enthusiast, ready to grow in her new IT career.

Marit van Dijk joined our Adopt and Embrace team as Head of Advisory. With almost 25 years of experience in Business & IT Advisory, she has worked at both the Big4 (KPMG) and a Microsoft Partner (Avanade). Marit lives in Loenen aan de Vecht with her husband and two teenage daughters. She has a passion for running, strength training, hiking, cooking, and quality time with friends and family. Marit is very excited to help Rapid Circle grow and is looking forward to the entrepreneurial culture and fine people.

Sander van Kooten, our new Account Manager on the Sales and Marketing team. Sander is 46 years young and lives with his wife and three children in downtown Hoorn. Sander loves sports such as soccer, padel, kickboxing and running. He can also often be found on various sports fields of his children as a parent or as a supervisor. After many years of experience in the Healthcare sector at Wortell, he brings his knowledge and energy to Rapid Circle. His motto is clear: build great solutions together and ensure satisfied customers.

Finally, we welcome Peter Dekker as Finance Officer to our Back Office – Finance team.
